The Patapum carrier is an Italian brand soft-structured carrier with a whole lot going for it:
- Easy to use - no tying involved!
- Well padded shoulder straps and extra-wide, padded waist for comfortable carrying and superior weight distribution
- Detachable sleep-hood for head support during naps
In our opinion, the Patapum is great for those families who want to share the joy of baby carrying between them. The buckle-fastened straps are easy to adjust which makes it suitable to be worn by different people. Also, the Patapum’s combination of “backpack style” looks and simple block colours means it is attractive for either sex to wear.
We’re currently stocking the Baby and Toddler versions of the Patapum. Both versions are similar; however as the name implies, the Patapum Toddler is tailored for heavier infants and toddlers. It has a longer body panel and extra side straps that help draw your child’s body closer to your back, allowing your hips to take the majority of the weight (see picture below).
